Read the following items to familiarize yourself with the contents, requirements and issues with this release:

Welcome Guide:	The GRAMS 9.0 Welcome Guide describes System Requirements, the contents of the release and Installation Instructions. (It may be helpful to print a copy of the Guide for reference during the installation process.)
Operating Systems:	IMPORTANT information on Supported Operating Systems.
Known Issues:	An up-to-date list of Known Issues with the GRAMS Suite 9.0 release.
Upgrade Instructions:	The Upgrade Instructions describe the process of installing version 9.0 of the GRAMS Suite on a system that has a previous version of GRAMS currently installed.

Please follow each step exactly. Skipping any of the steps may result in an installation that is missing key functionality.

Step #1 - Obtain a GRAMS 9.0 License file: (Note: If you have already received a GRAMS 9.0 license file from the Sales department, skip to Step #2.) Download a 30-day Trial License. After the trial period, if you decide to purchase any of the GRAMS Suite applications, an updated license will be provided that will unlock the full functionality of the purchased applications. There is no need to reinstall the software. WARNING: It is a violation of GRAMS Suite License Policy to apply a license file to more than one machine. If you need to have any of the GRAMS Suite applications installed on additional machines, please Email Sales. Step #2 - Download the GRAMS Suite Installation files: Note that there are two files in the downloadable zip file:     GRAMSSuiteSetup.exe Installs all of the GRAMS Suite applications, data files and documentation. GRAMSConverters.msi Installs the GRAMS Converters.     *** BOTH FILES *** in the Installation Zip file must be run to fully install the GRAMS Suite. Select Save when prompted. Be sure to save the file in a location that will be easy to find when the download is complete. Step #3 - Extract the Installation files from the downloaded Zip file: Open the downloaded Zip file (GRAMSInstallationFiles.zip) and extract both of the files. Step #4 - Run the two Installation programs: Using the steps described in the Installation Instructions section of the GRAMS 9.0 Welcome Guide, run both of the InstallShield setup files.

The best place to start after installing the software is the GRAMS Suite Help file. This can be found in the Windows Start menu in the folder: Thermo GRAMS Suite | Documentation. The Introduction section of the help file contains useful information for both new and existing GRAMS Suite users. In addition, the help file contains Tutorials and User Guides for each of the applications in the suite.
